In fact, we are the city's number one fear other than the feds initiating a long overdue investigation into their corrupt practices.

There is not a day that goes by without The Daytona Post being discussed by Daytona Beach Commissioners or City Management.

Outside the din of the daily media, and the disinformation campaign at City Hall, there are things going on behind closed doors every day that adversely affect the interests of the citizens of Daytona Beach. One water bill for residential 4 plex apt. buildings and lower. I had to withdraw because of health reasons.. but now I've been given a clean bill of health by my Dr. and am considering another go. But this time I'm mob backed. The old dissolved mob. The few who are still active and need to give their grandkids a place to play. Why not Daytona? after all we have a 20 million dollar police station with DNA capabilities and all we got is a fingerprint off a rock. If the chief wants to act like a patrolman he should get a patrolman's salary. His ONLY job is in administration. What if he gets hurt while doing a patrolman's job. Does he collect disability pension money as chief or patrolman. What about these guy that are already collection a pension from one job as employee of Daytona and now have a different job still working for Daytona. For instance Paul Miketrck who used to head the code dept. now is ass. city manager. And some people that work on the code dept. are collecting pensions from being cops. Wake up citizens of Daytona get off your asses and do something about the political crime in this city. They are creating another historic zone when they haven't finished Surfside Village yet. In 1984 Main st. was dug up and storm and sewage pipes were put on Main. But the stopped at Hollywood. The dug up Peninsula all the way from Auditorium to Main and the stopped why aren't they connected yet? This was supposed to be paid with with the historical redevelopement money. Of course we taxpayers will pay for it but at a different price 25 ysars after the fact. What about the E Zone? Before we put up any buildings or phoney projects we need a bigger sewage plant.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-30204106483120473512010-01-06T20:04:06.508-08:002010-01-06T20:04:06.508-08:00Hello I have lived here 33 years and I do not beli...Hello I have lived here 33 years and I do not believe their is any hope for this town.I agree with what you say 28 yr resident, most people do not have a clue what the heck your talking about because they do not pay any attention to the alternative media.Just what's on that Babylonian idiot box and preoccupied with sports, sitcoms, reality crap tv,american idoland corporate controlled news that spews nothing but disinformation.Daytona Beach is becoming desolate habitation of demons and all unclean spirits. This place deserves to be destroyed, for all it's corruption and extreme wickedness Judgement has come to America from GOD withdrawing His hand of protection. And rightfully so.Because we have forsaken him.Jesuit infiltration Vatican influence thats what Alex Jones leaves out.(this is just for you 28yr old resident)Daytona Beach is just a microcosym of whats going on with the rest of America. Thanks to the Federal Reserve/ Central Banks/and i already mentioned that all roads lead to ROME They own the USA.in a couple of months watch the Dollar drop 40%by springtime
So when are the casino's coming?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-54269413401275995352009-09-22T22:56:52.793-07:002009-09-22T22:56:52.793-07:00Re: Friday's 7/31/09 comment re the COP Grant ...Re: Friday's 7/31/09 comment re the COP Grant Program. You can only hire NEW officers with this money who will be assigned to COP programs. So if you are a department that has to lay off officers, you can't keep them with this money. You can't keep your veteran officer and just assigned them to COP. You have to lay off your veteran officers, and hire new officers.

Also in 3 years after the money runs out the department MUST keep that officer for a fourth year. So if cities are still broke in 3 years. Guess what? Bye bye veteran officers. They will have to keep the rookie, and lay off a senior officer.

The money could of been better spent in so many ways. But Biden wanted to stand at the press conference and say "We are going to hire new police officers". Yeah, at the cost of senior officers.
it appears that city with money to spend got the grant and agency smaller who's town budget dose not have the money to hire help did not. unfair to smaller towns needing extra protection regardless to crime rate, this was listed as a way to fund agencies in hiring more manpower to keep crime rates down
(The money)"... was sent to places with the highest crime rates and the biggest budgetary problems...Under the COPS program, the federal government pays the officers' salary and benefits for three years, after which the local government is responsible for the costs."

Sounds like a real efficient program. Let's give our tax dollars to cities who aren't responsible enough to balance their own budget, then expect them to pick up the tab for their full salary in three years. Not gonna happen.

Three years from now, Obama will be campaigning for re-election when crime goes up as "4,699 officers" get laid off from their temporary jobs. My advice to these newly hired officers, rent, don't buy.

democrats, creating unemployment now and in the future, guaranteed.FRIDAYnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-56176439136594353862009-07-30T04:47:20.776-07:002009-07-30T04:47:20.776-07:00July 2nd anonymous posted about the Simon Peabody ...July 2nd anonymous posted about the Simon Peabody Playground not being listed on the original historic site in the right area. Well, I checked with the State about Surfside village that was originally masterminded by Gerald Langston and company and it's true. Not only is the historic Peabody playground, one of the properties that was listed to get the historic grant in the wrong place, 9 south Wild Olive, it is also within 200 feet of the old Wreak bar now the Full Moon Saloon. In fact it's right on the property line. So if in fact it really was there the city would own it and the bars couldn't be there. Not only that bar but Kay's Coach House and Dirty Harrys because it's within 200 feet of the closest boundry of 9 South Wild Olive where Langston listed the property. Doanes Properties owns 9 south wild olive which is used as It's headquarters. So if either of the locations, the original or the one that the address was switched by Langston is correct then 2 or 3 of the 4 bars should not be there. I also checked to see who's name was on the original Surfside Village Grant and it had Gerald Lanston, listed as owning over 2/3rds all 585 properties in the historic district which were needed to get the historic grant for Surfside Village. In order to get this grant the majority of the historic properties had to be more than 50 years old and had to have the owners permission to use the property to ceate Surfside Village by signing a petition to do so. My family owned 4 properties in that district at the time and all were listed as being historic in Surfside Village with a State Historic number. We never signed the petition, but someone did. So do you see where this is going? It's called FORGERY to obtain illegal grant funds, not counting charges by the Dept. of Interior. I've asked 8 other people that were also listed with a state historic number and they also didn't sign any petition. Langston was working with a local broker at the time. I can't mention the brokers business name right now but Langston wanted him to change his business name to Palm Realty which he didn't do because he was run out of town. A Palm Realty company was finally created by no other than Shallow. Even Simon Peabodys address was switched from 21 North Halifax to 20 North halifax. The new Wreak Bar at 115 main street which was built by Attorneys RICE ROSE, HOOD and STEVE BAKER who owns Brook's cleaners then sold to Gilly Aguilar of pub 44 with the Delpercio brothers who used to own 4 topless bars in the 70's and 80's. and recently sold to FRESHES Restaurant this week. This property that the bar is on is right next to Simon Peabody's historical home, in fact it's on the property line. The land that the bar is on was purchased from no other than ex Mayor Bud Asher which was zoned residential. He owned two 3 story slum apartments buildings, there in the early 70s, that were called the Syringe Palaces because of the 60 residents and their habits. These dormitory style apartments consisted of one room with one bathroom on each floor which were constantly broken. Thiis property was then changed to RDB3 which is commercial to make the sale. This was done while Asher was still Mayor. On paper, because of the Simon Peabody address switch, it put Peabody's home on the East side of Halifax across the street at 20 North Halifax which is over 200 feet away. 20 North Halifax is owned by Rice and Rose. Attorneys Wills and Whitehead were the original owners of 20 N. Halifax sold it to Rice and Rose. The city has the information of all this with pictures that were used for the Surfside project but they can't seem to find it in city hall but I know for a fact that the code department has copies and the State Historic Preservation department does also. One more item of interest,Mayor Asher claimed while he was in office he STOPPED Dormitory style living which in fact he also created it.35 year residntnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-8438664060024876462009-07-21T12:30:45.685-07:002009-07-21T12:30:45.685-07:00typos on july 21,2009 chilly said-above post shoul...typos on july 21,2009 chilly said-above post should have read

Why is it that every bar on main street has to have dumpsters for its garbage yet froggies saloon has 15 residential ones. most days the city street cleaner can't come down fern alley because of it. CITY MAY PAY FOR CONTROL OF T...Todays news journal. CITY MAY PAY FOR CONTROL OF THE DAYTONA PIER
The pier was also one of the structures that were used to get the state historic grant in 1984. In order to be considered a historic structure you must go to 3 steps. First, you must prove that your structure is historic and meets all criteria. The Department of Interior must give you a letter stating that it is within these histortic rules and you must fill out a form telling them what you are going to do to restore it and how much you are going to spend to restore the structure. Second, you do all the things that you said you were going to do to restore it and send pictures to the Department of Interior of what you accomplished. If during the part 2 phase of restoration you make any changes you have to fill out an addendum to your original plans and the Department of Interior must approve. Step 2 you send pictures of all the improvements to be added to the original historic claim and the Department of Interior must OK the changes. You must pay a fee to the Department of Interior and they in turn send investigators to check all of your work and see if it is truly a historic structure. If everything is the way you said and you pass the inspection THEN and only THEN they send you a copper printed plaque printed on it when and why it is historic and dates included. You then can claim a tax incentive break of 20% plus other grants and tax breaks.

The MAIN STREET PIER, not the DAYTONA PIER never got past step 1 which means it still in the infant stage of being rebuilt. This is being done with TAXPAYER DOLLARS.

How do I know this? MY historic structure that I've owned for over 30 years just passed Step 2 of the Department of Interiors standards for historic properties. I sent in the pictues of my accomplishments and they sent me a letter that I passed. All I have to do now is send them the required fee for the inspectors to come and inspect it for the final step 3. The city knows this but does not have me listed as historic even though I'm one of the only 4 structures in the whole city that went this far. They have me classsified as within the main street redevelopement area even though I'm beyond the area. They did this so I couldn't get any CITY historic monies to accomplish what I did. All the taxpayer dollars that the city gives, not the Department of Interior, to restore phoney properties is just one part of The Langston and company SCAMS including ASHER, DOANES, MIKETRICK,the former leader Ms(BUIlD IT AND THE WILL COME) KUEHNS, BIG JOHN, TIPTEN and a few other low life CLOWNS. The street address switching has everything and more that was created by these 'ORGANIZED CLOWNS" to pull off this PERFECT scam dreamed up by LANGSTON and ASHER and others including MASTER SHALLOW BATER. I think that contacting Crist is good but the EXACT same article should be sent to all would be

opponents both Republicans and Democrats running in the next election, also sending copies to the inspector general and the

Federal and State Historic Divisions and whoever prosecutes the RICO Act would get more attention. Of course, a notorized

petition of names of residents would also help but wouldn't be necessary I don't know the names and addresses all the

politicians that would running but I do know the government agency addresses-The inspector General, the State and Federal

Historic Agencies and the EPA, including management and supervisors because I have dealt with them in the past. I did the

same thing when the city was backing a washed up losing mayor candidate and past commissioner who was going to put up a

private parking lot next to my property. I put in civil complaints and the EPA denied the parking garage on the fact that a sand

dune and 4- 100 year old trees would have to be leveled. The trees were cut down but had to be replaced by others in the

same location. I also put in a complaint with the city zoning board and won because the property is residential and this project

would have to be over 250 feet from a residential neighborhood. It took 3 years of going to all city board meetings and

bringing all my neighbors with me. They were first fined $1,000 a day for 750 days. Then the fine was appealed and the

city lowered it to $500.00 a day. Then it was appealed 2 more times and the city gave in to a $25,000 fine. I had to

look at 5 piles of dirt, 40 4x8 foot cement blocks stacked 2 and 3 feet high for 3 years but I won. This info is all

documented and listed with the complaint #'s in the minutes of the zoning board and city commission meetings. I did this by

myself with the help of the surrounding neighbors and CONCERENED CITIZENS. I had a 3 year runaround by the private

investors of the parking garage and the city. I also ran for mayor in 1999 but had to back out because I am disabled and

they told me that because I couldn't personally campaign to get the required amount (10) signatures in each one of the city's

zones I had to back out. I wanted to give my salary if elected to the league of women voters directly and not even have it

in my name, the city claimed that I had to receive my salary directly. For those who are disabled and want to run for mayor

all it would cost would be to open a campaign account for $25.00 and claim yourself as principle-mayor candidate, secretary

,treasurer and campaign manager.concerened citizennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-29419617524078291912009-07-07T10:54:57.286-07:002009-07-07T10:54:57.286-07:00I did check the address switching that anonymous s...I did check the address switching that anonymous said july 3rd and it's true the addresses of peninsula and halIfax do change BACK to their original addresses past main st to furthur down near ormond. I also have an original county map sheet #5304. sec 45 scale: 1:2400. The map also shows where thr property bought by the city from doane was to be deleted. This was way before it actually hapened. There are also marked properties on the map that the city is going to level that hasn't been leveled yet. The Langstons adress swithching were that the west side of peninsula were all even numbers that were changed to odd number addresses once you crossed main st on peninsula going north and changed back to even after the redevelopement area. The same as halifax ave. The same as grandview and many others. This might not seem important but when the historic redevelopment funds and the redevelopement area funds were used they went to the wrong addresses. This is another one of Langston & companys ways of screwing the taxpayers who are just being used as pawns. I too have been in this town for over 35 years just like angela koliopulos who wrote the article in the ideas section of todays news journal only I have every move that was made since then on paper and original.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-90119475138089555182009-07-02T05:11:38.195-07:002009-07-02T05:11:38.195-07:00another property that was used to get the state hi...another property that was used to get the state historic grant was peabody playground that was located behind peabody auditorium. This children's playground was donated by simon peabody one of the founding fathers of daytona beach. But another "mistake" on the original map put it at 9 SOUTH wild olive which is owned by ms. doanes. The original playgrounds address was on NORTH wild olive. This was the property that the city owned donated by peabody and sold to ms. doane for parking that was needed behind the now bank and blues club. This is another case of address switching that was masterminded by Gerald Langston and company.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-14869279090691009392009-06-30T13:51:11.795-07:002009-06-30T13:51:11.795-07:00If the e-zone is changed from the historic surfsid...If the e-zone is changed from the historic surfside village which the historic main street redevelopement area was originally created has a surplus of 2 million dollars left, where does the surplus go? Does the city have the right to use it to buy the pier or any other lame idea like changing the rdb areas that created the money to t-4 which is what it wants to do or or does this move delete the historic districts? The e-zone has all the historic properties that was used to create it,the pinwood cemetery,7 peninsula that was mistakingly torn down(said by Suzanne Kuehns) for the benifit of boot hill parking, the horse stable used for the fire dept. that was torn down for the benifit of hot leathers, There are many other original properties taht will also be gone or are gone. If this does happen does daytona think that the money could be better spent if used for a new waste water plant that WOULD be needed for the extra lift stations that would be needed for the new developements? What about all the epa proteted sand dunes and 100 year old trees. Does the city plan on giving all the money it illegally created back to the people that supported it? What about all the state historic grants? Do they plan on giving it back? When the city tears down all the remaining propertis where does the money for the taxes they would create come from? As soon as the e-zone does happen do we lose our historic standing? Are they in such a hurry to buy something before the t 4 zone is created? As far as the property that doanes sold the city it was originally owned by rice and rose, which was brokered by shallow. It also had 2 historic houses on it on top of a huge sand dune that was leveled before doanes bought it. The sand was taken from there to fill in the low areas of 11 and 17 north peneinsula that was also sold to doanes
brokered by shallow,Before the sale was made. there were also 3 historic 100 year old trees that was taken down.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651388331897832796.post-68795624350330207852009-04-08T23:23:00.000-07:002009-04-08T23:23:00.000-07:00It is so sad to seestolen money (taxes) given away...It is so sad to seestolen money (taxes) given away.
